Spaghetti with Sacla wild rocket pesto

Spaghetti with wild rocket pesto

Tonight's dinner was quick, silly easy and full of flavour, Sacla's jars of pesto sauce are the easy and fast way to create a fabulous dinner. ow I'll admit now this is not as fresh and as impressive as making your own pesto, however on a busy day it is a near as I've found and certainly has a great level of quality you won't always find in a jarred sauce. Sacla have created a great range with an exciting choice of flavours for every palate. I chose the wild rocket variety which has a great peppery edge to it, when combined with some toasted pine nuts for flavour and texture, parmesan for that salty mature flavour and a few fresh basil leaves for iron rich loveliness you get a great meal.

The quantities for all the ingredients are up to you, al I'll say is toast the pine nuts i a dry frying pan watching them all the time as they can burn really quickly, next cook your spaghetti as per the instructions on the packet and prep you other ingredients whist the pasta is cooking./p>

Once you've drained the pasta mix with the sauce and serve, sprinkle over the nuts, cheese and basil. All done

Enjoy
