I went for a long walk walk this morning with the intention of shooting a small herd deer that I'd seen the week before in a 'small' patch of trees away from the more used tracks. The deer in the forest tend to keep to a relatively small area so I was confident I'd find them and I did, unfortunately they heard or saw me first and were always off in the opposite direction.
Not wanting to leave without anything to post I focused a this beautiful foal who was feeding with it's mother, they were both very understanding especially when I was crawling along the ground with camera, big lens and tripod. They did look rather confused at times.
