80/365

iDarkroom, app of the week on iTunes top 10 app in a hundred countries 5* rated by x thousand people all the things that make you think yeh yeh I've seen it all before. It's just another photo editing app.

STOP, it has some interesting textures it has different lighting effects it even has paper types this app is different it adds some value to what I'm shooting. iDarkroom from Maple Studio is a quick, fun and friendly the finished effect is crisp. I've seen comments elsewhere that iDarkroom is just another variation on Pictureshow. Yes there are similarities, however, iDarkroom has beautiful bokeh effects, iDarkroom has a cleaner crisper UI and iDarkroom has less features.

Yes I said less, this is where iDarkroom really wins, the simplicity of just being a photo editor, no text features, no slider things to concern you, no confusing bits with levels and curves. Simply take you picture and use the four simpering preset menus and create amazing, fun pictures simply and quickly.

It has a quirky 'random' option identified by a pair of dice which combines a its own selection of paper, lighting, texture and frame as it takes no inside ration for the subject of the original photo the final effect can be interesting and not what you'd usually do.

Sharing options are a little limited Twitter and Facebook only could be helped with links to some or even one of the photo sharing sites and email.

In summary simple to use, lots of fun and variety and most importantly it's different from the thousands of other apps out there, my suggestion at 0.59p it's a bargain.
